Dr. Vohora’s caring and warm personality is partly due to her upbringing in the small town of Prince Rupert, BC, and partly due to her close family ties. She graduated as an optometrist from the University of Bradford in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK in 2006.
Dr. Vohora opened her first clinic in Cloverdale, BC in December 2012. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the industry.
In her downtime, she enjoys travelling with her family and staying active.
Dr. Rai was born and raised in Surrey, BC. After earning a Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University, she pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree at Pacific University College of Optometry. During her time in optometry school, Dr. Rai participated in a mission trip to Guatemala, providing free eye care to the residents of Playa Grande Ixcan. She is passionate about continuing to make outreach a key part of her optometric career.
Throughout her clinical education, Dr. Rai gained extensive experience in myopia management, pediatrics, and ocular disease in both the USA and Canada. Now back in British Columbia, she is excited to serve her community.
In her free time, Dr. Rai enjoys spending time with friends and family, baking, and staying active.
Dr. Prabhdeep Kaur Purewal was born in Vancouver and raised in Surrey, BC. She attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biology. She went on to pursue her doctorate of optometry from Illinois College of Optometry (ICO), graduating with honours. Throughout ICO, she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa and Tomb and Key Honours Societies.
Outside of the office, Dr. Purewal enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. In her free time, she loves baking, reading and hiking!
Maneet is a small town girl who has now called the big city her home. She was born and raised in Penticton, BC where she started to have an eye for the world of optometry clinics.
After graduation, Maneet moved to Surrey, BC where she completed her Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resources at Kwantlen University. She then took on the venture of opening her own clinic with her partner Dr. Priya Vohora.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and taking road trips.
Lisa has over 10 years of experience in the optical industry. She has developed great knowledge in the manufacturing of eyewear and lens technology.
Often working behind the scenes, she ensures all eyewear is met with high standards before dispensing to clients. Her experience helps identify a client's needs based on doctors' recommendations, environment, hobbies, and more.
When she is not busy making your glasses, Lisa enjoys being outdoors, exploring new trails, planning day hikes, and backcountry camping. She has also completed the Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit!
Arshdeep was born and raised in Punjab, India. He has recently completed his Diploma in Dispensing Opticianry at Douglas College Coquitlam.
He is passionate about working in the optical field as he believes that it is a blessing to help people see a better world.
When not in the clinic, Arshdeep likes to spend time with his friends and explore the rest of Canada.
Deepneet was born and raised in Chandigarh, India. Her helping and kind-hearted personality is partly due to her customer service experience in Surrey, Canada.
She is enthusiastic to help customers and to share her knowledge with everyone around her.
Outside the clinic, Deepneet enjoys painting and spending time with her family and friends, as well as exploring Canada.
Mina was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, and emigrated to the UK in 1967. She lived in London for 10 years and then moved to Toronto in 1978. For the last 46 years, Mina has worked in customer service and administrative positions in the banking sector and at a variety of other businesses, including optometry clinics in Oakville, Ontario.
Mina loves handling recalls for eye. Optometry and interacting with both staff and patients. She works hard to fulfill appointment requests to the best of her ability.
Her passion lies in spending as much time as possible with her beautiful grandchildren and socializing with her family and friends!
